Francesco has over 20 years’ consulting experience advising some of the world’s leading banks, card schemes and payment organisations on how to enhance business performance. He has led assignments for business spin-off, due diligence for business acquisition, change programme effectiveness and services transition. He has held senior roles at organisations including PwC, Accenture, French Thornton and was Managing Director of Bluerock Consulting in the UK prior to his role at iBe TSE. He is often quoted in the media, in outlets including The Daily Telegraph, London Evening Standard, The Next Web and Global Banking and Finance Review on the subject of innovation and FinTech.
Francesco advocates a customer centric approach to innovation and transformation. He believes that as individuals we are dynamically connected to devices and the world around us. This status of social connections between people, brands, products and services will only become more prolific. As such, he predicts that the bank of the future will be one that understands how people connect with the world around them and will seek to bring a new dimension to these interactions.
He champions the view that the only way large organisations will survive is by adapting and collaborating with start-up and FinTech ecosystems. He urges clients to be more strategic and understand what digital technologies mean for their business. The data it will deliver to them and how they derive value from this will help them deliver a better customer-centric experience that will lead to revenue opportunities.
Paul Crowe is a Partner and is the Head of Banking at iBe TSE. He has over 20 years’ management consulting experience operating in a senior capacity delivering complex programmes and launching new financial services organisations.
A programme director comfortable working at both board and operational levels, he combines strong stakeholder management with a grasp of detail required to deliver complex programmes. He has deep skills in delivery advisory and delivery execution. He is an expert in programme delivery, banking integration, supplier selection, contract negotiation, start up delivery and launch.
His clients include Lloyds Banking Group, HSBC, First Data and Travelex. Paul played a key role in the largest banking integration in Europe and programme directed the set-up of Woodford Investment Management, the largest asset management launch in the UK for over 25 years.
Paul lives in London with his wife and two children. He enjoys hockey, cricket, and has a keen interest in politics.
Masha is a Partner and brings over two decades of experience working in the payments industry.
Prior to joining iBe TSE, Masha held a number of senior appointments in both advisory firms and within the payments industry including at MasterCard, Visa and Microsoft. Her core focus is within online and mobile commerce and she has a track record developing regional and cross-border payment businesses across channels.
Masha has delivered strategy and product consultancy for several large international merchants, fintech startups and payment companies. Masha played key strategic management roles at DataCash, GlobalCollect and CyberSource where she established and grew new areas of the digital payments business. Before that, Masha spent five years at Microsoft where she oversaw the development of electronic and mobile payments for the company’s online sales platform in Europe and provided strategic direction and innovation for the region. Masha’s foundation in the payments industry was established over ten years at Visa International where she was driving business development in CEMEA region and subsequently product strategy and sales of smart card programs and online commerce.
She is frequently a guest speaker at conferences and seminars and also acts as a Non Executive Director to Limonetik, France.
Partner, Card and Payments
Luis is a Partner for Cards and Payments and leads the iBe TSE business in Spain and Portugal from the Madrid office.
He has over 20 years of strategy and business consulting experience, with a strong focus on Cards and Payments. He has supported the growth and transformation of many leading banks and cards issuers across Europe, having a strong knowledge of the industry. His career in consulting includes working for companies including Booz Allen Hamilton, ServiceProfit Consulting and DTI Management Consultants. In 2012 he founded Paystrat, a mid-size strategy specialized consultancy, and launched a mobile payments startup venture.
Luis’ curiosity is always driving him to find opportunities for the key players of the payments arena to “challenge the challengers”. Banks and issuers have the market mandate to add real value to their customers around the payment process and to rebuild a stronger relationship with them. He strongly believes there are always paths for profitable change no matter where and what the starting point is. For him, the key to breaking the sticky inefficiencies of big organisations and the only way to innovate and change with agility, is through people. He likes to permanently challenge and inspire his clients with a simple question: Why not?
Luis holds an MBA from IESE Business School (Barcelona) and a BSc in Economics.
Luis was a passionate rugby player when he was younger and he still enjoys playing with his old team-mates. He loves to spend time with his family lost in the rural ambience of the Spanish countryside.
Juan Vázquez Orgaz
Partner, Card and Payments
Juan is a Partner and based in iBe TSE’s Madrid office. His early background as architect led him to develop great experience in Project Development and Management, and in multidisciplinary team leadership. He soon adopted new technologies like CAD design, and VR image visualisation.
His career has always been linked to entrepreneurship and business development around new technologies. Since he stepped into the payment consulting business, he has delivered and managed a significant number of relevant projects for most of the main banks in Spain and Portugal.
Juan has a strong analytical background, combined with a great ambition to create innovative services and products. He has broad experience in all the strategic and business aspects of the payment industry, and holds relevant expertise in MasterPass implementation and mobile payment solutions design and development.
Juan has held senior roles in Paystrat and in PynGO, an innovative startup with a proprietary specialised mobile payment solution, linked to a local scheme and to MasterPass.
He strongly believes in new technologies, and their power to transform lives and create new business models. He defends that only the extensive and intelligent use of data will tell us what customers are truly demanding, and will let us design the innovative solutions they need.
Partner, Digital Delivery
Peter is responsible for the effective delivery of our digital initiatives. He has more than 25 years’ consultancy experience advising and supporting clients in the recovery and delivery of IT enabled business change programmes and projects. He has worked in a number of senior roles for LOC Consulting, Accenture, Oracle and French Thornton and during this time has reviewed, assured and delivered a number of complex programmes across a range of sectors, industries and clients.
An entrepreneur with a very hands on attitude, he was formerly Managing Director of LOC Consulting, an award winning medium-sized delivery consultancy in the UK, which was acquired by iBe TSE in February 2016. As a client focused consultant he works client-side, specialising in the review and recovery of IT and business change programmes, specifically in product, consumer goods and new media organisations. He was on the MCA’s shortlist for IT consultant of the year reflecting his work in delivering a number of change programmes.
Associate Partner, Digital Transformation
Elinor is a strong, personable and analytical consultant, specialising in programme and project management across a number of sectors including Finanical Services, Government, New Media and Telecoms. She is driven by the challenge to deliver value to clients whilst also taking an active role in growing brand and business.
Elinor has worked with a variety of clients including delivering new global websites and a CRM platform for VisitBritain, implementing Salesforce.com for Easynet Connect and working on the Front Office of Government's programme at the Post Office driving new products and contracts to increase revenue and diversify the consumer offering, particularly focusing on online product strategies. Elinor also has strong marketing experience, having been the lead for marketing strategy, brand image, PR and marketing events for LOC Consulting before it was acquired by iBe TSE in 2016.
Specialising in portfolio, programme and project management across a number of sectors including government, retail, new media and telecoms, she combines excellent communication skills and stakeholder management with rigorous end-to-end project management to ensure successful programme delivery and client satisfaction.
She has a passion for the outdoors and can often be found scaling a mountain, diving in the ocean or travelling around the world exploring new destinations.
